A washable 100% polyester rug in a distressed vintage oriental pattern, offered in beige, blue and grey, in sizes from 80x150cm to 200x290cm. The pattern is printed and deliberately faded rather than sharply defined, which is what lets an ornate design sit in a plain room.
A crisp oriental pattern demands the rest of the room agree with it. A washed-out one behaves like a texture instead: from standing height it reads as tonal movement across the floor, and the detail only resolves when you look down at it. That is why distressed rugs have taken over from traditional ones in modern interiors, and it is the whole argument for this one.
Low pile is the practical half. At this thickness it clears an internal door, sits flat under furniture without rucking, and dries quickly after washing — all things a deep pile rug in the same pattern will not do. Beige warms a pale room, blue brings in a little colour, and grey cools it and hides the most.

- Returns are free. You never pay to send anything back — we send a prepaid label or written instructions, and sometimes we will simply ask you to keep the item and refund you anyway.
- If something arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, you are covered by the legal guarantee for at least two years, separately from the 14-day right above. We pay the return cost.

Email info@rotheestate.com with your order number and we will send a prepaid label or tell you what to do; sometimes we will simply ask you to keep the item and refund you anyway. We refund to your original payment method within 14 days.
Separately, if an item is faulty, damaged or not as described, you are covered by the legal guarantee for at least two years from delivery. Customers in Ireland have more: you may reject a faulty item for a full refund within 30 days, and your right to claim runs for six years.

We deliver to Finland, Ireland, the Netherlands. Delivery is free to all three. Because everything ships from inside the European Union, you will not pay customs duty, import VAT or a carrier clearance fee — the price on the product page is the total you pay.
How should I care for my piece?
As a general rule: dust dry rather than wet with a soft cloth, avoid abrasive cleaners and solvents, keep pieces out of prolonged direct sunlight, and wipe up spills promptly.
